Assertive Sentence থেকে Interrogative Sentence-এ রূপান্তর (Main Verb থাকলে)
ইংরেজি Grammar-এ Assertive Sentence (বর্ণনামূলক বাক্য) কে Interrogative Sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য)-এ রূপান্তর করার সময় অর্থ যেন পরিবর্তন না হয়, সেটি সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়।
যখন Assertive Sentence-এ Main Verb থাকে, তখন Interrogative Sentence তৈরি করার জন্য সাধারণত Do / Does / Did ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Rule 2: Assertive Sentence-এ Main Verb থাকলে
Rule:
যদি বাক্যে Helping Verb (am, is, are, was, were, have, has, had, can, may ইত্যাদি) না থাকে এবং Main Verb থাকে, তাহলে Interrogative Sentence করার জন্য:
- Present Simple → Do / Does
- Past Simple → Did
ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
Structure:
Positive Assertive → Negative Interrogative
Subject + Main Verb + Object.
→ Do/Does/Did + not + Subject + Base Form of Verb + Object?
Negative Assertive → Positive Interrogative
Subject + do/does/did not + Verb + Object.
